Flat, well signposted, family-friendly routes along the banks of the Danube, Mindel, Kammel and Günz rivers pass through some beautiful countryside in the heart of the Günzburg district for families and children. Better still, routes can be combined to suit personal preferences. The unique ‘RüberRadler’ system connects the river valleys running south to north, enabling families to opt for shorter or longer routes as appropriate, and put in as many climbs as they require. The cycle path network also includes some interesting themed routes. The Donauradweg and DonauTäler are premium cycle paths honoured by the German Cyclist’s Association, and a showpiece for cycling in the region.
