In the "Schwäbischen Barockwinkel", so called because of it’s many baroque buildings, you can discover numerous "treasures" from by-gone times, which give an inkling of the glamour of past époques. Especially worth a mention is the Frauenkirche in Günzburg, the architectural forerunner of the world famous Wieskirche in Oberbayern.

The "Familien- und Kinderregion Günzburg", the region catering for families and children is situated in the south of Germany, between Stuttgart and Munich, more precisely, between Ulm and Augsburg where Bavaria and Baden-Württenberg meet. Easy to reach on the A8 (München) and the A7 (Allgäu) motorways or by rail (route Stuttgart-Ulm-Augsburg).
